The "SAFE CHOICE" training was organized in partnership with the psychology institute, “Focus on the Family” at the Nairamdal International Children's Camp to teach preventing unsafe actions and solving problems faced during teenage years to 8th-grade students. The training included 88 students from 3 groups of eighth grade, 3 teachers, a social worker and a school psychologist.
The training provided essential information based on the gaming method. The topics were who I am, self-worth, appropriate use of social media, prevention of temptation, peer pressure, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted teenage pregnancy, and relationship stages from dating to marriage while correcting students' misconceptions. Also, handbooks are distributed for the students that they can read later.
We would like to express our gratitude to the school principal for covering the costs of the teachers and programs, which totalled 7,450,500 tugriks and the psychology institute for well-organised training. Our responsible homeroom teachers also deserve recognition for their excellent care of the students.
