ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE KANGAROO MATHEMATICS COMPETITION

The Kangaroo International Mathematical Competition was first organized in 1980 by Australian mathematician and educator Peter Holloran. In the mid-1980s, more than 500,000 Australian students attended the competition yearly. More than 7 million students from more than 70 countries worldwide are now competing in the "Kangaroo" competition each year, simultaneously and on the same subject. In 2009, Mongolia officially joined the AKSF association and embarked on its journey in the 'Kangaroo' International Mathematical Competition. Since then, Mongolian students have consistently demonstrated their mathematical prowess, earning accolades and recognition on the global stage.

On March 23, 2024, a total of 259 students from grades 4 to 12 participated in a test. Out of these students, 124 students received medals and degrees. This included 5 Gold medals, 10 Silver medals, 20 Bronze medals, 35 First-degree diplomas, 31 Second-degree diplomas, and 58 Third-degree diplomas.

Thank you to all the students who participated and to the teachers who prepared their students.
