The traditional mathematics Olympiad named after the founder of the "Shine Uye" school, the People's Teacher of Mongolia, Maam Unenbilege, was held on October 15 and 16 this year, and the results were announced on October 17. A total of 1,385 students and 64 teachers participated in the Olympiad and won 14 gold, 18 silver, and 35 bronze medals, honors, and silver prizes. In the opening ceremony of the Olympiad, the representatives of the students who took the medal place in the Olympiad of teacher U. Maam participated, and the student MUGJ Ariunaa greeted her with the song "Багшаа дуулья". The participants watched the opening ceremony live in the classroom. The theme was developed and completed by a team led by Dr. U. Batzori, a member of MMOH, a teacher at NUS. In each category, more medals were awarded than expected, and in the category of middle school teachers, 5 teachers won gold medals with the same score. Olympiad participants were not charged.
Each student was given a gift of study materials. Students from 9 districts of the capital, Selenge and Khentii provinces participated in the Olympiad in teams, which expanded the scope of the Olympiad. The students who participated in the Olympiad, their parents, guardians, teachers and guests expressed their satisfaction with the organization of the Olympiad, which encouraged us to organize our work even better next year.
