Shine Ue School started cooperating directly with Mongolian universities to enrol IB DP graduates with scholarships.

Dear parents and guardians,

We are pleased to announce that Shine Ue School is successfully launching an event for its IB diploma graduates. 

From the 2021-2022 academic year, the Shine Ue School started cooperating directly with Mongolian universities to enrol IB DP graduates based on their diploma scores, giving credit for higher-level courses individually, and giving credits for standard-level classes individually. Furthermore, the possibilities of the recognition for a theory of knowledge extended essay and CAS. Therefore, we have organized several preliminary introductory meetings regarding the IB Diploma Programme with the following universities. 

We met with the management team of the top five universities in Mongolia, the National University of Mongolia, the University of Finance and Economics, the University of Science and Technology, the University of the Humanities, and the National University of Medical Sciences. 

We plan to cooperate with the universities in the following four areas.

To study the possibility of direct admission with an IB diploma score / based on the order A / 347 of the Ministry of Education and Science/

Certain subjects might be credited to the corresponding course of the university credits based on the diploma scores of some of the topics studied in the IB program.

Higher and standard level courses can be credited according to the number of appropriate university bachelor subjects for that level.

Consider the possibility of awarding a certain amount of scholarship based on the IB diploma score.

In addition, we are researching some opportunities that correspond to the IB core subjects such as Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service. 

 

It is in progress to conclude a memorandum of understanding and create some regulations regarding the correspondence to equate some IB subjects' syllabi to the specific subjects' syllabi of the university.
