The 8th Iranian Geometry Olympiad was attended by 4,571 teachers and students from 59 countries, including China, Russia, Italy, Vietnam, Iran, Hong Kong, and Brazil.
In the student category: In the Intermediate category (grades 9-10), 1,847 students participated and won 19 gold, 30 silver, and 56 bronze medals. Tenuunsaikhan B., a 9th grade student at "Shine Ue" school, won a bronze medal in this category.
In the teacher category: In the Free category, out of 90 teachers participated and won 3 gold, 10 silver, and 17 bronze medals. Munkhtulga B., a mathematics teacher at "Shine Ue" school, won a bronze medal.
