Equating the assessment of the international examination

It is now possible to equate the assessment of the international examination with the assessment of the general entrance examination!

Cambridge IGCSE /international general certificate for secondary education/, AS /advanced subsidiary/, A /advanced/, O /ordinary/ level programs and the IB /international baccalaureate/ and AP /advanced placement/ program scores will be compared to the general entrance examination scores.
In the case of an international program, a high school graduate may choose to have his or her international test score equated to that of the general entrance examination scores, or to take the general entrance examinations.
Requirements for offsetting scores:

  1. Students applying for offsetting scores must have proof of completion of general education
  2. The assessment obtained in the international examination shall be certified
  3. Compensated dimensional scores may not be used for purposes other than the general entrance examinations.

Materials to be submitted by a student applying for offsetting scores:

  • Request for offsetting scores /signed by students, parents, and guardians, certified by copies of civil documents/
  • Notarized copy of birth certificate or ID card
  • IGCSE certificate
  • IGCSE statement of results
  • Or Certifying statement /Cambridge certificates that are not copied and notarized are considered valid only by Cambridge itself/
  • Statement of registration / with student registration number /
  • Notarized copy of high school diploma
  • School certificate of graduation

Students' equivalent scores will not be included in the main list of the general entrance examinations and will be placed in the list of relevant subjects according to the scores and a separate list will be created and notified to the higher education institution by the Education Evaluation Center.
